Rock Pets
The ideal family addition. Quiet, toilet trained and they hardly eat anything.
Perfect craft for any age.
You will need
Rocks {smooth river stones work best}
Acrylic paint
Paint brush
Googly eyes
Anything else you may like to use to decorate your pet ~ fluffy material or wool for hair, textas, gems, stickers, beads, sequins…
Apron
Plastic mat for table
White paper for printable {and printer}
Printable – Pet Rock certificate
Step 1. Set up.
Step 2. Paint one side, allow to dry.
Step 3. Turnover and finish painting, allow to dry.
Step 4. Decorate; add character to your pet.
Step 5. Fill in the pet rock certificate, with your rock pets name and details.
Step 6. Make more and create a rock concert!

My daughter Mikala has 2 rocks she carts everywhere that she found at a friends house. We should paint them as she does treat them like ‘pets’. Great school holidays activity. Especially in this hot weather!
